Dr. Soto-Valdez works for CIAD, Centro de Investigación en Alimentación y Desarrollo, A.C. (Research Center for Food and Development) an Institution dedicated to carrying out scientific and technological research in food and development, in Hermosillo, México. She is a Chemical-Biologist, with a specialty in Food Technology, at the University of Sonora, Mexico. Herlinda has a Ph.D. in Food Science (specialization in Food Packaging) given by the University of Leeds, UK. Member of the National Researchers System (SNI III) Award, from 1997 to date. She is also awarded by National Award in Food Technology 2010.

Srini is an Adjunct Professor and advisor at Tongji College of Design & Innovation, Advisory Board of Indus Design School, Indus University; and Wellingkar Institute of Management Development & Research, Mumbai, India.

She plays an active role in the logistics/supply chain discipline. Serves as an Associate Editor for Journal of Business Logistics, Journal of Operations Management and International Journal of Physical Distribution and Logistics Management, and on the editorial review board of Journal of Supply Chain Management.
Managing Director of the Association for Contract Packagers and Manufacturers at Contract Packaging Association since 2017. Ron Puvak has been in the packaging industry for 40 plus years. In 1976 he began his career as a Research Technician. In 2003 and then in 2010 Ron received recognition as a Certified Packaging Professional (CPP) via the Institute of Packaging Professionals (IOPP). An active member of the International Society of Beverage Technologists (ISBT) he has served as Chairman for the Packaging Technology Committee, on the board member of the national organization and now helps coordinate ISBT’s marketing effort.
