With a BSE in Chemical Engineering with a minor in International Engineering from the University of Michigan of Ann Arbor, she is currently the technical service engineer for UBE America Inc. in the Nylon extrusion department. She provides support for current and potential customers in the United States, Mexico, and Canada regions. Additionally, Ms. Hamilton leads the operation of UBE’s technical center, named UBE Development America, where ample film analysis equipment has been installed.
Eric Joneson- Lansmont Corporation
Joneson holds a B.S. in Packaging from Michigan State University and has an extended experience in areas of Transportation Packaging, Supply Chain Dynamics Measurement and Analysis as well as laboratory testing applications. He is also part of the Board of Directors at IAPRI, Global Board of Directors at the International Safe Transit Association (ISTA) and ISTA Advocate Council Representative and Association Past Chair, ASTM D10, and Random Vibration Task Group Member. Joneson is currently the Vice President of Technology at Lansmont Corporation.
Carlos Gallardo-Empack Graphics Design
Carlos is an Industrial Designer, Marketer, and Packaging Design Specialist. He is the CEO and founder of the consulting firm Empack Graphics Design Group, a company focused in the areas of Packaging Design, Brand Identity, Retail Marketing, Strategic Design, and Market Analysis. Carlos is responsible for the development and implementation of communication strategies and design for domestic and international brands by building and participating in brand strengthening through creativity and a differentiated thinking approach, thus permitting a brand profit increase.
Mauricio Aguilar works for Sigma, a global company dedicated to manufacturing fresh food (processed meat, dairy products, beverages, prepared food, etc). Mauricio is currently working as an R&D Manager for Mexico and Latin America factories and is the leader for sustainable packaging projects globally. Mauricio has been in the food industry for 17 years and has lived in different countries working for Sigma´s factories. He has a master science degree given by Tecnológico de Monterrey and a BS in Chemical Engineering with polymer specialty given by the Universidad de Guadalajara.
María Paz Gonzalez-Berjé Inc.
Dr. Gonzalez is the Vice President for Sourcing and Product Management at Berjé, Inc., based in New Jersey. She has over 22 years’ experience in the food industry specializing in international sourcing of natural ingredients and problem-solving and sourcing of different packaging needs. Dr. Gonzalez’s daily challenges involve navigating the world of international logistics, import/export restrictions of complex supply chains, and finding solutions for global packaging needs in a variety of products. Dr. Gonzalez is fluent in four languages and her sourcing experience and network of collaborators spans to over twenty countries. She holds a packaging MS and Ph.D. from Michigan State University.
José is part of the Mabe Technology and Projects since 1992 and Packaging Manager since 2007. He has also worked as a Packaging Specialist, Packaging Coordinator, Technical Information Coordinator, and Product Engineer at Mabe. Six Sigma Mabe Operational Black Belt, certified in 2019. He holds a Bachelor´s degree in Industrial Design and a Master’s in Science in Packaging at Michigan State University. José Martínez is the first one in Mexico to be an ISTA CPLP Professional Level since 2010. He also has a patent in Hybrid packaging for refrigerators.

Srini is the President of WDO (World Design Organization, formerly Icsid), working with its global members to promote design for a better world. He is the Chairman & CEO of LUMIUM DESIGN, Inc., a Silicon Valley-based, world-class, award-winning product Design Company that has developed 300+ products in the Consumer Electronics, Medical, Industrial Goods, Security and Surveillance domains. Srini is an Adjunct Professor and advisor at Tongji College of Design & Innovation, Advisory Board of Indus Design School, Indus University; and Wellingkar Institute of Management Development & Research, Mumbai, India.

MSc and MEng, managing director of NVC Netherlands Packaging Centre. Michael is a board member of the World Packaging Organisation (WPO), secretary of the European Packaging Institutes Consortium (EPIC), and chairman of the Netherlands Packaging Standardisation Committee and the Policy Committee on Transport, Logistics and Packaging Standardisation. He was a member of the Convenors Action Group (CAG) within ISO, developing the world standards on packaging and environment which were published in January 2013.

Christine Lopes studied the Specialty in Foreign Languages Applied to Business, English, and Spanish at Sorbonne University, France, and International Business at the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce Internationale in Fontainebleau, France. She has worked for Innova Market Insights from February 2007 to date, as Business Development Manager and, as of 2011, also as a Market Analyst.
